Sorry Clint, no new Cameron Crowe film this year. Sincerely, Ash.

Director Cameron Crowe’s untitled romantic comedy has been pushed back from December to May 29, 2015.

The film stars Bradley Cooper, Emma Stone and Rachel McAdams with Bill Murray, John Krasinski, Danny McBride and Alec Baldwin.

“Once we saw the film, we knew that it would make a perfect summer release,” said Sony marketing chief Jeff Blake. “The movie is Cameron at his best.”

Set in Hawaii, Cooper plays a military contractor who reconnects with a past love (McAdams) but also unexpectedly falls for an Air Force watchdog (Stone).

Crowe wrote and directed the pic. He also produced with Scott Rudin. Ilona Herzberg, Eli Bush and Ben Waisbren are exec producers.
