Paramount has already dated the sequels to the yet-to-be-released “Terminator” reboot.
“Terminator: Genisys” hits cinemas on July 1 and now the studio has announced that “Terminator 2” will hit on May 19, 2017 with “Terminator 3” arriving on June 29, 2018.
Alan Taylor is helming “Terminator: Genisys” from a screenplay by Laeta Kalogridis and Patrick Lussier. Arnold Schwarzenegger is returning to play his infamous cyborg role and Emilia Clarke, Jason Clarke, Jai Courtney, Dayo Okeniyi, Matt Smith, Byung-hun Lee and J. K. Simmons will also star.
The franchise began back in 1984 with James Cameron in the director’s chair. “Terminator: Genisys” will be the fifth instalment.
