Benicio Del Toro (“Guardians of the Galaxy”) is joining Jamie Foxx in Harmony Korine’s “The Trap”.
Per The Hollywood Reporter, the southern revenge movie centers “on two childhood friends now in their mid-to-late 30s — one of whom is very successful and the other has spent the majority of his adult life in jail. On the eve of a big recognition for the successful man, the other is released from jail and determined to get even.”
The film is slated to shoot early next year.
Del Toro will next be seen in Paul Thomas Anderson’s “Inherent Vice”.
