Natalie Portman to Sony : You can keep your Jobs!

Natalie Portman’s seemingly still rundown with a case of Baby Brain (either that or she’s afraid her personal info will be leaked within an hour of signing onto this Sony production).

The “Black Swan” cutie has passed on the Aaron Sorkin-penned Steve Jobs biopic (tentatively titled “Jobs”), set to star Michael Fassbender as the iMan. Yet, she remains committed to bringing that ‘must-see’ zombie-weepie “Pride and Prejudice and Zombies” to the big screen (it’s taken so long to get going that she’s no longer young enough to play Lizzie Bennett any more though; instead of headlining, she’ll produce), as well as stands by the cursed western “Jane Got a Gun”- which, following the exit of it’s director and male leads, took something like 22 years to film. The forthcoming publicity commitments on that thing are set to eat up even more of her time.

But, seems the Sorkin thing wasn’t something Portman felt she needed to do at this time. While Variety don’t know the reason behind Portman passing, I think it’s likely got something to do with the dialogue. After “Attack of the Clones”, nothing presented to the actress would seem challenging enough. The best is behind her.
