Flight Of The Conchords co-creator and star Jemaine Clement has landed a guest starring/recurring role in HBO’s “Divorce”. Penned by Sharon Horgan and directed by Jesse Peretz, Sarah Jessica Parker stars as Frances, a woman who suddenly begins to reassess her life and her marriage, and finds that making a clean break and a fresh start is harder than she thought. Clement will play Julian, a Manhattan-based literature professor and Frances’ close friend and possibly date.

NBC’s “Chicago Fire” spinoff “Chicago Med” has added “Law and Order” veteran S. Epatha Merkerson to its cast. Merkerson will play Sharon Goodwin, the head of the hospital where the show is set. The ensemble cast will be introduced in episode 19 of this season of “Chicago Fire”.

“Alexander And The Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day” star Ed Oxenbould will join Chevy Chase and Beverly D’Angelo in ABC’s single-camera comedy pilot “Chev & Bev”. Chase and D’Angelo play two baby boomers who are fun, relevant and living a selfish retirement whose world is turned upside down when they are suddenly left to raise their grandchildren. Oxenbould will play the oldest of the three grandchildren, described as a nerdy handsome amateur magician.

Zach Gilford (“Friday Night Lights”) has joined ABC’s untitled drama pilot which stars Adam Warren as a politician’s young son who returns after being missing for a decade. Previously presumed dead, the neighbour sitting in jail for his murder is released and the cop responsible is forced to re-examine what truly happened so many years ago. Gilford will play Adam’s self-destructive older brother.

Daniel London and Li Jun Li will star in Fox pilot “Minority Report”. The show is envisioned as a sequel to the Steven Spielberg-directed movie in which London appeared as Wally the Caretaker. London will reprise his role for the TV version with Li set to play Crime Scene Investigation technician Akeela. Set 10 years after the end of Precrime in D.C, one of the three Precogs, Dash, struggles to lead a “normal” human life. Still haunted by visions of the future, he meets detective Lara Vega who just might help him find a purpose to his gift.

Nadine Velazquez will star in NBC drama pilot “Love Is A Four Letter Word”. The pilot will focus on the collision of race, sexuality and gender roles when three diverse couples put modern marriage to the test. Velazquez will star as Rebecca, a Cuban American who is deeply in love with Julie and very happy with their marriage, but doesn’t realize her wife is actively considering getting back together with her ex, Nick.

Natalie Martinez (“Under The Dome”) and Lance Gross (“Crisis”) have joined NBC martial arts drama “Warrior”. From director Phillip Noyce, the pilot centers on Kai Forrester (Martinez), a damaged heroine who works undercover with physical and spiritual guidance from a mysterious martial arts master to bring down organized crime syndicate YOMI. Gross will play an Interpol agent and former Navy SEAL.

Tommy Dewey and Michaela Watkins will play siblings in Hulu’s single-camera comedy series “Casual”. The show follows Alex Cole (Dewey) who uses a dating website he created to match himself with a never-ending string of good-looking women, whom he sleeps with to try and mask his depression and feelings of loneliness. As his sister, newly divorced therapist Valerie Cole (Watkins), rejoins the world of casual dating, Alex pledges to mentor her and help her embrace her single life, while he simultaneously struggles to find meaning in his own. Jason Reitman exec produces and directs the opening episode.

Annie Potts and John Carroll Lynch have joined Fortune Feimster in ABC’s multi-camera comedy pilot “Family Fortune”. Set in North Carolina the pilot centers on popular gym teacher Fortune (Feimster) who comes out of the closet to her close-knit group of family and friends. Potts and Lynch will play her parents.
