Cecily Strong may join Ghostbusters, too!

“Ghostbusters” may add another “Saturday Night Live” regular to it’s credits block.

Cecily Strong, a current regular on the 40-year-old sketch comedy series, looks to join Melissa McCarthy, Kristen Wiig, kate McKinnon & Leslie Jones in the Paul Feig-directed reboot.

FilmDivier says Tyson’s part is one of the biggest ‘non-Ghostbusters’ roles in the movie :

She’s an authority figure who liaises with our heroines, privately backing their activities and acknowledging their legitimacy, but publicly denouncing the group to the media in order to avoid panic amongst the wider populous.

The current “Ghostbusters” line-up were pictured on the weekend together at the after party following the “SNL” 40th Anniversary special. No doubt Ms Strong chatted to the foursomne, too.
