With less than a month until Kevin James hits the screen in “Paul Blart: Mall Cop 2”, Sony has released a TV spot and new clip from the family comedy.
The sequel to 2009’s “Paul Blart: Mall Cop” is directed by Andy Fickman (“She’s the Man”) and co-stars Molly Shannon, David Henrie, Eduardo Verastegui, Nicholas Turturro, Gary Valentine and Neal McDonough. James and Nick Bakay penned the script.
The film sees Blart head to Las Vegas on a well-earned holiday following years of keeping malls safe. He attends a Security Guard Expo with his teenage daughter before she departs for college but, while at the convention, he inadvertently discovers a heist. Now it’s up to the mall cop to apprehend the criminals and, once again, save the day.
“Paul Blart: Mall Cop 2” bows on April 17.
