She’s All That, Too!

’90s teen fave “She’s All That” – the film that cemented Freddie Prinze Jr’s short but memorable career as a romantic male lead – is being done over.

The Tracking Board says The Weinstein Company and Miramax have set Kenny Leon to direct a remake of the 1999 movie.

The original, which also featured Rachael Leigh Cook and the late Paul Walker, told of a high school student who bets his friends he can transform the so-called ‘ugly nerd’ into the prom queen. Needless to say, the two fall in love.

Director Leon recently remade another classic, “Steel Magnolias” – which aired on Lifetime.
