Will new Ghostbusters include the iconic theme song?

Filmmaker Paul Feig has had to answer some pretty tough questions – or try to – since coming aboard this all-girls “Ghostbusters reboot. And now E! have another for him : Will Ray Parker Jr’s iconic theme song make a return in this new film?

“We have ways to bring it in that we’re playing with, so we’ll see”, a non-committal Feig answers. “It’s such an iconic thing that part of you goes, ‘I don’t want to change it,’ but then another part of you wants to update it. It’s one of the biggest questions we’re faced with.”

Sounds like they’ll be using the song, in some fashion, but Ray Parker Jr likely won’t be getting the – excuse the irony of the wording – call.
