Roadshow the new proud poppas of TWC’s pups
This is friggin’ great news.
The Weinstein slate will be in even better hands, than ever before, I tell ya.
Roadshow Films have snagged all upcoming Weinstein Company releases – which, should include everything from “Pulse” to “Clerks 2”, “Grindhouse” and “Scary Movie 5” – away from Buena Vista, who have been distributing them up till now (as per the old Miramax deal), and will be the new throng responsible for putting them into projection booths in Australia and New Zealand, from here on out.
Roadshow have taken care of a few Weinstein releases of late, including “Wolf Creek”, and done a terrific job plugging, promoting and getting cheeks on seats to watch them.
The first WeinsteinCo release that Roadshow will handle is “Hoodwinked”, released in August.
