Scoot McNairy, next seen in “Batman v Superman : Dawn of Justice”, has joined the cast of Netflix’s war-on-terror-themed black comedy “War Machine” according to Deadline.
The project reunites McNairy with his “Killing Them Softly” and “12 Years A Slave” co-star Brad Pitt for the movie. McNairy also worked with “War Machine” director David Michod on “The Rover”.
Based on the Michael Hastings book ‘The Operators: The Wild And Terrifying Inside Story Of America’s War In Afghanistan’, “War Machine” satirizes the handling of that war, and the people running it.
Michod wrote the script. Pitt’s company Plan B produces.
