Donald Faison (“Scrubs”) will guest-star in two episodes of Showtime’s “House of Lies”.
Faison will play Donald, “a big-money earning entrepreneur, Donald shows up to egg on his old friend, management consultant Marty Khan (Don Cheadle), to up his business game to global status” (via Variety).
Dylan Baker, Robert Forster, Cathy Moriarty, Alfred Molina, Al Madrigal and Jon Daly have joined Showtime’s comedy pilot “I’m Dying Up Here”.
Baker will play Johnny Carson, Molina will play “marginal at best” talent manager Carl, Madrigal will play a loose canon comedian named Edgar, Daly will play struggling comic Arnie, and Forester and Moriarty will play the parents of up-and-coming comedian Clay (Sebastian Stan).
The pilot is based on William Knoedelseder’s non-fiction book which is set during L.A.’s celebrated, infamous stand-up comedy scene of the 1970s.
