“Blade Runner 2049” star Mackenzie Davis is in talks to join Linda Hamilton and Arnold Schwarzenegger in the latest Terminator movie, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
The reboot has Tim Miller at the helm, and plot details are still under wraps, but reports suggest Davis is up to play a soldier-assassin on a mission. It is a human character in a movie that once again sets up the battle between (wo)man and machine.
Sources are reportedly still on the fruitless hunt for a Latino to play the star role, however.
The reboot is set for release July 26, 2019
