Tom Cruise is currently down under on the Mummy promotional trail, and has confirmed exclusively to Sunrise that a “Top Gun 2” is definitely happening.
He hasn’t given many details, apart from the fact that he will start filming in the next year. “Top Gun” was released in 1986, so it’s been 31 years since Maverick, Goose and co graced our screens, so I’d say “Top Gun 2” is loooong overdue.
