Out promoting his new film “C’mon C’mon”, “Joker” actor Joaquin Phoenix was quizzed on the incessant rumours that a sequel is in the works to the Todd Phillips directed film.
While Phoenix doesn’t say for sure that he’s in, he does state that there’s some “things” they could do with Arthur Fleck in a potential follow-up.
“I mean, I dunno. From when we were shooting, we started to – you know, uhh, this is an interesting guy”, the actor tells The Playlist. “There are some things we could do with this guy and could [explore] further. But as to whether we actually will? I don’t know.”
Rumor is we may hear something on “Joker 2” at DC FanDome later this month.
