Jungle Cruise team reunite for Kate Warne biopic; Emily Blunt to star

The Gustin-Nash scripted pic will see the “Jungle Cruise” star play Kate Warne, the first woman to become a detective at the Pinkerton Agency.

Seemingly satisifed with their first teaming, Emily Blunt is getting back in business with Dwayne Johnson and his Seven Bucks Productions for a new action adventure flick.

The Gustin-Nash scripted pic will see the “Jungle Cruise” star play Kate Warne, the first woman to become a detective at the Pinkerton Agency.

Johnson won’t appear in the film – well, so far, he’s not attached to co-star, anyway – but will produce alongside producing partners Hiram Garcia and Dany Garcia, in coproduction with Blunt’s Ledbury Productions and Kristina Sorensen Productions.

Amazon Studios has acquired the rights to the untitled pic.
