Malek in talks for Denzel’s serial killer thriller Little Things

Rami Malek, hot off his Oscar win for “Bohemian Rhapsody”, is in talks to join Denzel Washington in Warner’s “Little Things”.

From “The Blind Side” director John Hancock, who is also scripting, the film fixes on a sharp young detective (Malek) who teams with a seen-it-all deputy sheriff on the hunt for a serial killer. The sheriff has a nose for the “little things” that are helpful in putting clues together, but he’s got baggage and a willingness to cut corners that bristles with his younger partners.

The film, which Malek would begin after he wraps on the next Bond film, will begin production in early September.
