Shannen Doherty has confirmed she will join the reboot of “Beverly Hills, 90210′, reprising her role as Brenda Walsh. The six-episode reboot will also see the return of Jason Priestley, Jennie Garth, Ian Ziering, Gabrielle Carteris, Brian Austin Green and Tori Spelling.
The show is set to air mid-year, and will feature the seven former teen idols playing “heightened versions of themselves with a healthy dose of irreverence – that is inspired by their real lives and relationships with each other.” (via Variety).
Doherty and Luke Perry were the only two cast members not signed on, but sadly Perry passed away last month following a major stroke.
