After 4 seasons, Sophia Bush is leaving NBC cop drama “Chicago P.D.” .
According to Deadline, Bush may return for a guest starring role to wrap up her character’s story, but won’t be the lead female anymore. The recent season 4 finale of “Chicago P.D.” left it open for her character to leave, with her on the verge of accepting a job in New York as part of the FBI.
Co-creator and showrunner Matt Olmstead also recently left the show in March, so Bush’s exit is a second big loss.
Bush is also well known for her long-standing role as Brooke on “One Tree Hill”, and is very active in charity work. It will be interesting to see her next acting move.
