With the initial success of TGIF sequel-series “Fuller House” on Netflix a couple of years back, no surprise to hear the WB’s streaming portal Warner Media are keen to resurrect a few other classic small-screen brands for a reprise.
The one that’ll no have most cartwheeling around the gym – always safer than a moving vehicle – is “Perfect Strangers!”
Yep, there’s a chance we’ll be seeing Larry Appleton (Mark Linn-Baker) and his distant overseas cousin Balki Bartokomous (Bronson Pinchot), again in the near future!
This one has been championed – and petitioned – for fans for eons, so no surprise that the WB has it on its immediate to-do list.
Also on the docket? refreshes of “Hanging With Mr Cooper”, “Family Matters” (Steve Urkel!) and “Step by Step”.
Like “Fuller House”, these new series would likely feature the original cast mixed in with fresh faces, so each respective series can tap into nostalgia for those who had grown up with the original series while also drawing a new generation of viewers.
