Chloe Bennet (“Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D”) has exited the “Powerpuff” pilot over at The CW.
With the network ordering the producers reshoot the whole thing, and rehaul that script, s scheduling clash forced Bennet to exit. She was set to play Blossom.
A casting hunt is now underway for a new Blossom before cameras roll again this fall on Take 2.
Dove Cameron is still attached to play Bubbles, while Yana Perrault is Buttercup.
Wonder if that ‘scheduling conflict’ Bennet has it with Disney+’s “Secret Invasion” series? Surely, there’s a need for a certain popular S.H.I.E.L.D spunk in that? God, I’m such a fanboy at times.
