The on-again off-again sequel for “I Am Legend” is officially underway, with Will Smith returning and starring and producing alongside Michael B. Jordan.
Akiva Goldsman, for Warner Bros, will return to write the script, after adapting the 1954 novel for the 2007 film starring Smith.
As the movie is still in development, news on plot and director are still under wraps.
Smith posted a little teaser on Instagram, which will certainly assist to generate some hype for the upcoming sequel.
Directed by Francis Lawrence, “I Am Legend” starred Smith as virologist Robert Neville, the sole survivor in New York City of a man-made plague that transforms humans into bloodthirsty mutants, and follows him while he fights to find a cure.
