Star Wars and Indiana Jones fave Harrison Ford has signed on for his Marvel Studios gig.

The actor has signed on to play General Thaddeus ‘Thunderbolt’ Ross, a character previously played by the late William Hurt in earlier MCU films, in a couple of Kevin Feige’s upcoming blockbusters.

Hot off the fifth Indiana Jones film, Ford will make his debut as the classic comic book character in Captain America : New World Order and be back for Thunderbolts.

The news hails from Jeff Sneider, who floated the rumor a couple of weeks back but noted at the time that Ford hadn’t yet signed on. That’s now changed, and the 80-year-old actor is a lock.
