The small-screen adaptation of Schwarzenegger classic True Lies has been cancelled, TV Line reports.
Based on James Cameron’s 1994 film of the same name, the CBS series starring Steve Howey in the Schwarzenegger role, Harry Task, and Ginger Gonzaga as wife Helen.Mike O’Gorman, Erica Hernandez, and Omar Benson Miller also star in the Matt Nix-spearheaded series.
According to the outlet, the series finale of True Lies airs Wednesday, May 19 at 9pm.
The cancellation came as CBS announced on Monday that S.W.A.T. will return for a seventh and final season after all, just three days after cancelling the long-running cop procedural.
