Eleanor Tomlinson, one of the stars of the cute British comedy “Angus, Thongs & Perfect Snogging”, is set to play the female lead in Bryan Singer’s “Jack the Giant Killer”.
According to Deadline, the Brit, who recently had a role in Tim Burton’s “Alice in Wonderland”, “plays Isabella, the princess who runs away from the kingdom and is kidnapped by the giants. Before that happens, she runs into Jack, the son of a farmer and makes a strong enough impression that he leads a mission into the land of the giants to get her back”.
The film, a reimagining of “Jack and the Beanstalk” obviously, stars Nicholas Hoult, Ewan McGregor, and Bill Nighy.
