Exclusive : Samara Weaving on her “bucket list” role as Scarlett in Snake Eyes: G.I. Joe Origins!

The Australian actress stars alongside Henry Weaving in the G.I. Joe spinoff, available now on digital.

In celebration of the release of Snake Eyes: G.I. Joe Origins on digital platforms, we’ve got an exclusive look into Shana O’Hara / Scarlett from the actress herself, Samara Weaving!

Originally played by Rachel Nichols in 2009’s G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra, the mantel of Scarlett has now been taken up by the Aussie star who’s taken Hollywood by storm in recent years, with major roles in films like Ready or Not, Guns Akimbo and Bill & Ted Face the Music.

In the clip, Weaving explores Scarlett’s relationship to Henry Golding’s Snake Eyes, who leads this origin story for the infamous G.I. Joe character, as well as the nostalgia behind her decision to join the hop aboard the franchise.
